Fire snatched 11 lives: Fire broke out in a junk warehouse in Bhoiguda, Hyderabad, all those who died were laborers from Bihar

11 people died in a fire at a scrap shop in Bhoiguda, Hyderabad. There were 12 people present in the warehouse at the time of the accident. Only one of them survived. The DRF team reached the spot extinguished the fire, but by then 11 people had died. The cause of the fire is said to be short circuit.

DNA test will identify dead bodies

A fire brigade official said that the fire started from the scrap godown and spread to the upstairs room. Seeing the condition of the corpses, it seems that the laborers tried to escape, but they fainted due to inhaling the thick smoke. It was a heart-wrenching scene, as the bodies could not be identified. They were stacked one on top of the other. The police officer said that a DNA test would be conducted to identify the dead.

According to Hyderabad District Collector L Sharman, all the laborers who died were outsiders. On the other hand, Telangana CM KC Rao expressed grief over the death of workers of Bihar due to fire in Bhoiguda, Secunderabad. He has announced a compensation of Rs 5 lakh each to the next of kin. Also directed to make arrangements to send the dead bodies of the slain workers to their homes.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed grief over the loss of lives in the fire in Bhoiguda, Hyderabad. PM Modi said- My condolences are with the families of the laborers who died in this hour of grief. 2 lakh each will be given by PMNRF to the kin of the laborers.
