Indigo is offering 10 percent discount on flight tickets, know how to take advantage of it

New Delhi. Airline company Indigo has come up with a special offer for passengers who have got the anti-coronavirus vaccine. Indigo is giving 10 percent discount on flight tickets to those who have got one or two vaccines of Corona. For this, the company has launched a scheme named ‘Vaxi Fare’.



To take advantage of this discount, it is necessary to book tickets from Indigo’s website. Passengers will get this discount on the base fare of the flight ticket. The airline company said in a statement that IndiGo has launched the ‘Vaxy Fare’ scheme, under which if someone has got their vaccination done, they will get a discount of up to 10 percent in the fare on every route.

Must show vaccination certificate
To avail this scheme, passengers traveling in IndiGo will have to carry their Vaccination Certificate issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India and Aarogya Setu Mobile at the check-in counter/boarding gate of the airport. Your vaccination status will have to be shown on the app.

If the passenger who has booked the ticket under this scheme is unable to show the vaccination certificate, then he can be denied boarding. This vaccination exemption is applicable for travel dates more than 15 days from the date of ticket booking. This offer is not applicable on Group Bookings of IndiGo.

Booking like this
Tickets have to be booked from Indigo’s website. Select Vaxi Fare on Indigo website. While selecting your arrival and departure destination, select the Vaxi Fare option. Now select the first or second dose of corona that you have got. Select the preferred flight. Select your onward and return flight option and continue. Now enter your ID details. After doing this the booking will be done. Keep in mind that you have to carry the Vaccination Certificate with you.
