The fourth phase of polling has ended in nine districts of Uttar Pradesh. In the evening 57.45% people cast their vote. This time a total of 624 candidates are in the fray for 59 seats. The fate of these candidates has been decided by 2.13 crore voters in EVMs.
The nine districts in UP that went to polls in the fourth phase today are Banda, Fatehpur, Hardoi, Lakhimpur Kheri, Lucknow, Rae Bareli, Sitapur, Pilibhit and Unnao. A total of 624 candidates were in the fray for 59 seats in these districts. Votes may be cast for these candidates, but in this election, apart from the candidates, the reputation of many veteran leaders is also at stake. Know who is involved in this?

In the fourth phase, a total of 2.13 crore voters have captured the fate of 624 candidates in EVMs. Among the voters, 1.14 crore were men and 99 lakh were women. In this phase, 24643 polling stations and 13817 polling stations were set up. 57 General Observers, 9 Police Observers and 18 Expenditure Observers were deployed to oversee the voting process.
