On September 21, a video went viral on social media, in which a girl was seen running without clothes on an unknown road in Moradabad, UP. Many people passed by him, even stopped, but no one came forward to help.
The case was on September 1 and the FIR of gangrape was also registered on September 7. On 26 September, CM Yogi asked the police about the case in a live press conference. The DIG of Moradabad range was reprimanded in front of everyone. The SSP was on leave, he was also called on duty.
Its effect was that only 5 days later on October 1, the police closed the case. It was claimed that the girl was retarded and the gang rape did not take place. On the other hand, the case was filed against the uncle of the victim girl who complained of gang rape. Now the victim is missing and the uncle is absconding. The father of the accused has claimed that the girl's father demanded Rs 1.5 lakh to close the case.
Deserted road with petrol pump, fast track justice
The road in Islamnagar Rampura village, which was seen in the viral video, is actually not as deserted as claimed in the police files. When I reached there, the road was crowded, there is a petrol pump on one side of the road. The victim reached her house in a nude condition after walking 2 km on this road.

This incident happened on Dussehra i.e. on 1st September. Within just 45 days, 2 completely different theories have come to the fore regarding this. In the first theory, the person who filed a report of gangrape of the victim became an accused in the second theory. The earlier accused were acquitted. The girl was blamed for being nude. The father denied the gang rape and told the daughter to be retarded. Case closed and fast track justice was done in just 5 days.
Victim's house filled with the smell of alcohol and shortbread
As soon as the investigation of this incident starts, all the facts of the police theory start colliding with each other. The script of a suspense thriller appears, in which the accused are missing from the village and the victim is also missing. The girl's father blames Ramavatar Singh, the brother-in-law of the girl who wrote the FIR. The people of the village secretly say that the family suppressed the matter by setting up.
I reached Victim's house inquiring the address. The first house on a road leading from the temple. The door opened. 7 people at home. Victim's younger sister, elder sister and mother standing nearby. Father Sompal Singh, son-in-law and a cousin sitting on the cot. When I started talking to the sisters in a light-hearted manner, I came to know that today there is a plan to make shortbread in the house.
The father interrupted and said, whatever you want to ask, ask us. Sompal started the conversation with his denial of gang rape on his daughter. His tongue was wobbling a bit. After going closer and asking the question, it was understood that Sompal is intoxicated during the day itself.

No proof of daughter's age, neither Aadhar nor ration card
Along with the allegation of gangrape registered in the first FIR, the father also denied the claim of the daughter being a minor. According to him, the daughter's age is 19 years, not 15. When we asked for proof of age, the search started in the house. After searching for 15 minutes, the younger daughter said – there is no Aadhar card. Ration card is also not available.
Proof of Kovid vaccine found. The vaccination slip was also dated January 2022, when the government started vaccinating people between the ages of 15 and 18. In such a situation, the age of the victim girl can be in the middle. Surprisingly, all the proofs of the younger sister were in the house, but there was no evidence of the age of the victim.
