Today 72 MPs are retiring from Rajya Sabha. On the occasion of his farewell, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed all the outgoing MPs in Parliament and wished them good luck for the life ahead. Modi said that we spend a long time between these four walls. Emotions from every corner of the country keep flowing here, which we experience. We take away more than what we give to the House.
He said that here we feel diversity. Carry these experiences in all four directions even beyond the four walls. It should also be our endeavor to write down the important things that we have seen in the House during our period, which have given direction to the country, so that they can be useful for the coming generations of the country.
PM Modi also said that we are celebrating the Amrit Mahotsav of the country's independence. In the 75 years of independence, the great men of the country have given a lot to the country. Now it's our turn. The members who are leaving from here will not get much, but I hope that by going on a big platform from here you will inspire people in the nectar festival of independence.
