In the UP assembly elections, the BJP's love for a Muslim woman has overshadowed her love marriage. The incident took place in Bareilly. Here the woman has complained to the police that the husband threw her out of the house for voting for the BJP. Now he is threatening to give triple talaq.
The victim says that she had done love marriage a year ago. On the complaint of the woman, the police has started action by registering a case against the accused husband and others. On the other hand, the National Commission for Women has also taken notice of this matter. Commission chairperson Rekha Sharma has written a letter to the UP DGP. In this, strict action has been asked against the accused husband. The commission has sought a report of the entire matter in 7 days.
Love-marriage happened a year ago
Uzma, a resident of Ejaznagar Gauntia in Bareilly, told that she was married to Taslim Ansari a year ago. On February 14, two days before the voting, her husband Taslim Ansari's maternal uncle Tyeb had come. He had asked to vote for the SP candidate. However, she came after voting for the BJP. This angered the husband and Tyeb. He asked why did you vote for BJP. When the woman told that BJP gave freedom to women from triple talaq. That's why I voted. After this, husband Taslim Ansari got angry and took the wife out of the house and said – Look who can save you from divorce now.
In-laws were supporting SP
Uzma voted for the Cantt candidate of BJP in the assembly elections. Husband Taslim Ansari and his maternal uncle Tyeb were supporting the SP candidate. Angered by this, her husband Taslim has now kicked the wife out of the house. The wife tried to settle the matter, but the in-laws did not agree.
Uzma told that she herself will talk to both the families and take further action. He has also appealed for justice by meeting Farhat Naqvi, president of the Foundation of 'Mera Haq', an organization dealing with cases related to triple talaq. Inspector Baradari Neeraj Malik said that on the complaint of Uzma, a case has been registered against her husband Taslim and Mama Tyeb and others for harassment, threatening.
