A jawan opened fire on the mess on Sunday morning at the BSF (Border Security Force) headquarters in Amritsar district of Punjab. In the firing, 4 jawans have died and 1 is seriously injured. At the same time, the soldier who fired, later shot himself too. He also died on the way to the hospital. The jawan who opened fire has been identified as Constable Satyappa SK of Battalion 144. A dispute of duty is said to be the reason for the firing. The post-mortem of the deceased jawans is going on in the Civil Hospital, Amritsar.

According to the information received, the soldiers of Battalion 144 were having breakfast in the mess of the BSF headquarters located in Khasa. During this, constable Satyaappa SK of Battalion 144 came in a rage and started firing indiscriminately. It has been told that Satyappa was angry about the duty. The incident caused a stir in the headquarters. By firing bullets in the mess, Satyappa killed 4 of his comrades, while a young man Rahul was seriously injured. Satyappa did not stop even at this. He ran out of the mess with his service combine and continued to fire.

Fearing to be caught in the end, Satyappa shot himself too. Four jawans died on the spot, while constable Satyaappa and 1 other injured jawan were rushed to the hospital. Satyappa died on the way. Doctors declared him brought dead at Guru Nanak Dev Hospital. While the treatment of the other injured constable is still going on, but the condition remains critical.

Satyaappa was firing like a maniac


Injured jawan Rahul's mother Uma Devi also reached Guru Nanak Dev Hospital. His tears didn't stop. Uma Devi said, 'Satyappa was firing like crazy everywhere. Whoever came in front of him, he was roasted. My son Rahul also got shot. The relatives of the deceased jawans and top BSF officials have reached the spot. Police also reached the spot and started investigation. At present, the BSF officials are keeping silent on this entire incident.

IG Border Asif Jalal reached Guru Nanak Dev Hospital to know the condition of injured jawans Nihal Singh and Rahul. During this, the IG said that there is no mutual enmity and factionalism. Injured Rahul shifted to private hospital

Jawan Rahul, who was injured in the firing, has been shifted from Guru Nanak Dev Hospital to private hospital IVY. After the visit of the officers, the jawan was shifted from here. At the same time, the media gathering is being told the reason behind the shift. According to sources, the media is gathering in the government hospital, so the officials ordered to shift the injured jawan to a private hospital.
