You will think that you have not talked about work yet, then read these measures written below…
Know these 10 ways that will save gas-
Do not put wet utensils on the stove – Generally people do not wipe the utensils before using them. Washed the dishes and immediately put them on the stove. Then the water present in that vessel is dried by burning gas. This results in wastage of gas. If you wipe the utensils and offer them, then there will be some savings.
Keep all the things together- We put the pan on the gas and then start other work from cutting vegetables and onions. In this whole process, sometimes the gas is slowed down and sometimes fast. Don't do that. Burn the gas only after all the materials of what is to be made are gathered.
Do not take it out of the fridge and keep it on the gas directly - People take out the goods from the fridge and keep it to heat directly on the gas. Don't do that. Keep outside for the first 15 to 30 minutes, heat only when it is normal.
Avoid cooking in open utensils- Usually people do not put the lid on the pot while cooking, keep it open and cook. In this case, time and gas are more. Cover it while cooking. This will cook food faster and also save gas.
Use a pressure cooker- Cooking food in a pressure cooker consumes less time and energy. It has also been revealed in many surveys that compared to the normal process, 20% cooking gas can be saved on cooking rice with pressure cooking, 46% on soaked gram dal.
Boil water once- If you make tea frequently at your home or someone drinks hot water, then avoid boiling water again and again. Boil water once and keep it in a thermos. This will make you restless for a few hours and will also save gas.
Check for leaks - Check for gas or gas pipe leaks every three months. This is a good practice in terms of security. Also remember that due to leaking of pipes, gas runs out quickly.
Keep Utensils Clean – It takes longer to cook food in a damaged or burnt vessel. Therefore, clean the pot regularly. Replace bad pot.
Keep the flame of the gas low- While cooking anything, keep the flame according to the vessel. If the pot is small then keep the flame low.
Look at the color of the gas flame- If the color of the gas is yellow, orange or red, then it means gas is leaking or garbage is trapped in it. The color of the gas should always be blue. If the color changes, clean it.
