New Delhi Palika Parishad (NDMC) officials, after getting information about the incident, also took stock of the spot in the evening and said that no damage has been done to the signboard.

To change the name of Aurangzeb Lane in New Delhi area, unidentified youths put up a banner of Baba Vishwanath Marg on the signboard. On receiving information about the incident, the patrolling team of Tughlaq Road Police Station removed the banner.
The police is investigating the matter by registering a case under the Defacement of Property Act against the unknown in the police station Tughlaq Road. After putting up a banner of another color on the existing signboard, all the youths left the spot.
