Turkish boxer Musa Yamak, 38, has died of a heart attack. His match against Hamza Vadera was going on in New York on Saturday. During this match, he suddenly fainted in the third round.





Turkish official Hassan Turan tweeted on his death, writing, 'We have lost our compatriot Musa Askan Yamak, a boxer from Alukra.'


Musa won the European and Asian Championships at a young age. Musa Yamak and Hamza Wandera's match was going on live. During this, Yamak fell in the ring shortly before the start of the third round of the match.


There was a tremendous hit from Wandera in the second round. During this, he lost consciousness for some time in the ring and started to falter. He was taken to the hospital after the accident, but it was too late. The doctors declared him brought dead after initial treatment.



8-0 record in knockout

Musa had not lost any knockout match till date. His record is 8-0. Musa became a professional boxer in the year 2017, but he got recognition after becoming the international champion in the year 2021.

The 26-year-old boxer was then taken straight from the ring to the hospital. According to Russian media reports, Sahakyan suffered a severe head injury from Semarin's punch, which required emergency surgery. But despite the best efforts of doctors, he could not be saved.
