The ongoing political crisis in Maharashtra is no less than the script of a film. Here, revenge, revolt and drama is everything. Shiv Sena MLA Deepak Vasant Kesarkar, who has not yet turned completely rebel but has given an ultimatum to Uddhav, has made it clear that he will part ways if he is not listened to.
In fact, like rebel Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde, Deepak Kesarkar also wants Shiv Sena to break ties with NCP and Congress and join hands with BJP. He told Dainik Bhaskar, "Not only I but Shinde also told this to the Shiv Sena chief many times, but he never took it seriously."
He said that Eknath Shinde was constantly talking to Uddhav to rein in the attitude of NCP and Congress MLAs, but his point was ignored. When we asked him, did you openly say that the army should join the BJP? So Kesarkar said, 'We and the BJP's association is very old. NCP and Congress have been our opponents.
Now seeing the danger looming on both the party and the power, Uddhav has made an emotional appeal to Shinde through FB Live - 'Eknath should come in front of him. If he says so, I will give up both the party and the post.
But when Eknath, who reached Gujarat, told Uddhav to save the party and its ideology, then the CM of Maharashtra was adamant.
Kesarkar told that the reason for the defeat of Shiv Sena's second candidate Sanjay Pawar in the Rajya Sabha elections on June 11 was also the independent MLAs given to Shiv Sena of NCP, he defeated the Sena candidate by cross-voting.
