The traditional Behideenkhlam festival was celebrated with gaiety in Meghalaya. The famous and entertaining 'Behdinkhlam Festival' is a cultural occasion celebrated with traditional fervor and gaiety in the state to seek blessings from the deity for a good harvest. This year it was raining heavily during the festival but still people came out of the houses carrying umbrellas and took blessings from their deity.
2) The cameraman entered the racers at the World Athletics Championships
The picture is from the ongoing World Athletics Championships in Eugene, USA, where the 3000m steeplechase race was taking place. As the race was about to end and the runners were nearing the finishing line, a cameraman covering the race jumped onto the track. The cameraman forgot that he got in the way of the athletes. Well, the cameraman may have forgotten, but the athletes were alert and ended their race by exiting the cameraman's side. Avinash Sable of India also participated in this race. Although they did not succeed, but interestingly, it is being described as the slowest final in World Championship history, as none of the players were even close to their personal best record.
