TMC bid, nothing to do with Mahua's statement on Kali: Mahua unfollows TMC, FIR registered against MP in Madhya Pradesh

An FIR has been registered in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh against TMC MP Mahua Moitra, who made a controversial statement regarding the poster of Goddess Kali. A case has been registered under section 295-A of IPC. After the registration of the case, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that insult of deities will not be tolerated. Here, Moitra has written by tweeting that she is not going to be afraid.


Bengal BJP leader Shubhendu Adhikari said- If Mahua's statement is wrong, then why is Mamata Banerjee not issuing a lookout notice against her like Nupur Sharma.




Here, Trinamool Congress has distanced itself from Mahua Mitra's statement. The party tweeted and wrote that Mahua's statement is personal and Trinamool has nothing to do with it. After the statement, Mahua unfollowed TMC's Twitter account.

1. Filmmaker Leena Manimekalai - Seeing the growing controversy after the release of the poster, Leena shared the post on social media and wrote – I have nothing to lose. I will always raise my voice with those who speak fearlessly. If it costs my life, I will give that too.


2. TMC MP Mahua Moitra - Kali has many forms. People have different opinions, I have no problem with this poster. In many places alcohol is offered to the deities. In some places it is considered blasphemy.
