The Egyptian colonel who used to train terrorists to make explosives in the fields

Al Qaeda's Explosive Expert Saif Al Adel was born in Egypt in the early 1960s. His real name is believed to be Mohamed Salah al-Din Zaidan, but there is a story behind the name Saif al-Adel. Saif al-Adel means 'Sword of Justice' which means sword of justice. That's why he changed his name.


Saif al-Adel has been a colonel in the Egyptian army. After the assassination of Egyptian President Anwar al-Sadat in 1988, he left Egypt to work with the Mujahideen in Afghanistan to drive out Soviet forces. It is believed that he went to Lebanon from here. In the empty fields of Khartoum, the terrorists were trained to make and use explosives.


Adel is a member of al-Qaeda's Majlis-e-Shura and the Military Committee. He also ran several training camps in Afghanistan, Sudan and Pakistan. He also opened a training camp in Ras Kamboni, Somalia, near the Kenyan border.

It was October 4, 1993. A fierce battle broke out between the American Rangers and militias affiliated with Al Qaeda in Somalia. During this, fighters of militia leader General Aidid shot down two American helicopters in the capital Mogadishu.


It killed 18 American soldiers. During this time the corpses of American soldiers were also brutalized. Corpses were dragged on the streets. This event is also known as 'Black Hawk Down'. Saif al-Adel was the mastermind of this attack. Adel had given training in making explosives and dropping missiles.


On 7 August 1998, several simultaneous explosions occurred in front of the US embassies in Nairobi, Kenya and Dar es Salaam in Tanzania. 224 people were killed, including 12 Americans. This attack was also carried out by Saif Al Adel. Since then, Adel has been called the enemy of American life.

Before the 9/11 attacks in the US, Saif al-Adel was the defense chief of Kandahar city. Adel opposed the attack on the World Trade Center in America. Just two months before the attack, Adel had advised bin Laden not to do so.

First: Abd al-Rahman al-Maghrebi, son-in-law of al-Zawahiri

The name of another vicious terrorist Abd al-Rahman al-Maghrebi is leading in this list. According to the US Defense Agency, Baghrebi is not only a senior member of Al Qaeda but also a very clever member of the organization. Baghrebi is currently the main leader of al Qaeda in Iran.


Being the son-in-law of al-Zawahiri, the Maghrebi also have a special influence in the organization. Magherbi has also been an active member of the Iraqi Sunni rebel group Jama'at Ansar al-Sunna and the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group.


According to the US agency FBI, Magherbi is a resident of Morocco. He has been instrumental in strengthening the roots of Al Qaeda in Afghanistan and then in Pakistan in 2012. After completing his software programming studies from Germany, Maghrebi moved to Afghanistan, where he was made al-Qaeda's media head. In a way, the Maghrebi is the master mind of Al Qaeda.
