Here, around 8 o'clock tonight, Sachin Pilot also reached to meet Sonia Gandhi. Venugopal was also present there. After the meeting that lasted for about an hour, Sachin Pilot spoke to the media. He said- whatever positive decision will be taken in the context of Rajasthan, he will take the chairman. I have expressed my feelings. For 30 years, there has been a five-year convention of forming the government in Rajasthan. How the government should be replicated in 2023, we have to work with that objective. This was discussed in detail. It is our priority to form the government in Rajasthan again.
Pilot did not answer the question of who would be the CM of Rajasthan.
At the same time, Venugopal has issued an advisory for the leaders who make rhetoric in Rajasthan. In the advisory, the party leaders have been advised to avoid rhetoric. Violation has been warned of action.
Sachin Pilot reached 10 Janpath to meet Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi.
Earlier, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot met Sonia Gandhi for about one and a half hours. After the meeting, Gehlot made it clear that he would not contest for the post of Congress President. He said that I have spoken with the Congress President. I have always acted as a loyal soldier. The incident that happened on the day of the legislature party meeting shook everyone. It was as if I wanted to continue as the chief minister, so I apologized to him.
Gehlot told the media after meeting Sonia on Thursday- 'It has always been a tradition here that we pass a one-line proposal to the high command. Despite being the Chief Minister, I could not get this one-line proposal passed, it will be sad that. This incident gave many types of messages inside the country.
When Gehlot was going to meet Sonia, he had some papers in his hand. It had a hand written apology. It was caught on camera. In this, some points were written by hand. The top of which was 'I am deeply hurt by what happened'.
Along with this, the names of four people including Sachin Pilot (SP), CP Joshi (CP) were also written in short form on the third point.
