Now 4 names in the race for Congress President: Manish Tiwari's discussion after Gehlot-Tharoor, Digvijay Singh will also meet Sonia

Now the number of candidates has started increasing for the election of Congress President. Earlier it seemed that there would be an agreement on the name of Rahul Gandhi, but now the name of a former Chief Minister and a former Union Minister is also coming to the fore amidst discussions of Shashi Tharoor and later Ashok Gehlot contesting the elections. These include former Madhya Pradesh CM Digvijay Singh and former Union minister Manish Tewari.

According to sources, Digvijay Singh will reach Delhi today, where he can meet the interim president of the party, Sonia Gandhi. He had also described himself as a contender in a conversation with the media. The name of former Madhya Pradesh CM Kamal Nath was also in the news. Tiwari is a Member of Parliament from the Shri Anandpur Lok Sabha seat of Punjab. According to sources, Tiwari is reaching Delhi on 24 September. In Delhi itself, he will discuss with his supporters. After this, the decision related to contesting the elections will be taken. Tiwari has also been the President of NSUI for 5 years and Youth Congress for 2 years.

2. Digvijay Singh has been the General Secretary of AICC
