A former police officer fired indiscriminately at a child care center in Thailand on Thursday. The incident resulted in 36 deaths, including 24 children. According to reports, the firing took place in Nongbua Lamphu in the northern province. The attacker was former police officer Panya Khamrab (34). He was fired in connection with a drug case. Khamrab committed suicide after firing at a child care centre. Earlier he also killed his wife and son.

Baothong wrote that his nephew was also in the child care center, but he survived the firing. Even before the incident, he had gone to sleep and had covered the blanket. He was in deep sleep. Because of this his eyes did not open. The attacker thought he was dead. In this way his nephew survived.
