Two Congress MLAs from Madhya Pradesh have been accused of molestation by a woman. The woman alleges that she was traveling in the AC coach of Rewanchal Express with her milk-mouthed son. Meanwhile, Congress MLA from Satna Siddharth Kushwaha and Kotma MLA Sunil Saraf touched her intoxicated. Both were looking at him with evil eyes.
On asking for help, Sagar GRP reached Bhopal with the woman. GRP has registered a case of molestation against both the MLAs. The case will be transferred to Jabalpur, Katni GRP for investigation.
Victim's word, the story of the night of the incident...
I am 30 years old. I am from Rewa. On 6th October, I boarded the Rewanchal Express from Rewa railway station to Rani Kamalapati station. I was traveling with my 7 month old son. At around 11.50 pm, Kotma MLA Sunil Saraf (age 47) and Satna MLA Siddharth Kushwaha (age 38) were sitting in the front berth. Both of them ate food at my side berth and then started abusing dirty things.
Touching my shoulder, he lifted me up. They started saying ma'am, have you eaten food or not? I did not say anything. Both of them in a state of intoxication were watching with bad intentions. Putting his hand on my shoulder, he was talking nonsense. I said that my son is sleeping, do not abuse. If they did not agree, I called my husband and told the whole incident.
On the complaint of the husband, the police came to the Sagar railway station. They shifted me to another seat. When I started going to the second seat, Sunil Saraf said – why are you going, why are you getting upset. I complained to TTE and Sagar police and asked them to take action by getting them off the train, but they changed my seat.
In the complaint made to the police, the woman wrote down the entire incident. The woman demanded action against the accused MLAs.
Changed seat first, then acted
The seat where the woman was sitting belonged to MLA Siddhartha. Being a child, the woman requested Siddharth to give her seat to him. Siddhartha agreed to this. After this, Kotma MLA Sunil Saraf also boarded in the same coach in Katni.
By now the berth light was off. Meanwhile, Siddharth and Sunil Saraf reached MLA Kamleshwar Patel in the same train. After a while Siddharth and Sunil reached the woman in an intoxicated state. Both started arguing about the berth. The woman alleged that both the Congress MLAs touched her with bad intentions. On protesting, they started showing political intimidation.
