DG Jail slit in Jammu and Kashmir: Attempt to burn dead body at home, terrorist organization TRF took responsibility for the murder

Jammu and Kashmir's DG Jail (Director General of Prisons), Hemant Lohia was found murdered in his own house late on Monday night. After the murder, even tried to burn his dead body. At present, the police has sent the body for post-mortem.





Terrorist organization TRF (The Resistance Front) has claimed responsibility for the killing of Lohia on Tuesday morning, about 10 hours after the murder. TRF has given this information through social media. It is an organization affiliated to Lashkar.


Police found dead body on servant

Since this incident, his servant is absconding, so the police is suspecting him of murder. Job search has been started. DG Jail Hemant Lohia lived in Udayawada on the outskirts of Jammu. He was a 1992 batch IPS officer. In August this year, he was posted as DG Jail. No information has been revealed about why he was murdered so far.

There was firing on the bank manager in the afternoon
