The girlfriend of gangster Deepak Tinu, who was involved in the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Musewala, was arrested by the Punjab Police from the Mumbai airport. Gangster Lawrence's accomplice Deepak Tinu had escaped from the custody of Punjab Police in Mansa on the night of October 1. The arrested woman was identified as Jatinder Kaur alias Jyoti Deol. She was trying to escape from Mumbai to Maldives.
Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav tweeted that the woman, who had escorted gangster Deepak Tinu from police custody, was arrested from Mumbai airport on the information of intelligence. She was preparing to flee to Maldives but the Anti Gangster Task Force (AGTF) team of Punjab Police caught her from Mumbai airport. The DGP said that the investigation into the absconding of Deepak Tinu is on. It is noteworthy that the Punjab Police has not been able to find any clue of gangster Deepak Tinu even after eight days.
According to sources, the girl caught is a resident of Khandur village in Ludhiana district. Mansa police also raided his house in Khandur village late on Sunday evening.

Court sent on remand for 5 days
The Punjab Police produced Jatinder Kaur on Sunday before the duty magistrate at Mansa from where she was sent on five-day police remand.
It is being said that the plan to run away from police custody Deepak Tinu, an important member of Lawrence gang, was prepared in Goindwal Sahib Jail in Tarn Taran district. Gangster Tinu is out of Punjab and there is no denying that he might have left the country via Nepal.
Was taken in charge of CIA to meet girlfriend
Gangster Deepak Tinu was in the custody of CIA branch of Mansa police. On the night of October 1, CIA in-charge Sub-Inspector Pritpal Singh took Deepak Tinu to meet his girlfriend in his personal vehicle. From there, Tinu was taken away by his girlfriend by dodging Pritpal.
