Kejriwal said- LG scolds more than wife: Delhi CM's allegation- Lt Governor working at the behest of super boss

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has targeted Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena. He tweeted- My wife does not scold me as much as LG scolds me everyday. In the last 6 months, as many love letters as LG wrote to me, my wife did not write as many love letters in her entire life.

Kenjriwal said- LG sir, chill a bit

Arvind Kejriwal further wrote- LG sir, chill a little and also tell your super boss to chill a little. Kejriwal is constantly alleging that the LG is working on the behest of the Center and obstructing the work of the Aam Aadmi Party government of Delhi.

Kejriwal angry on this letter from LG

A few days ago, LG VK Saxena wrote a letter to Kejriwal. In this, the LG had expressed displeasure that Kejriwal or any minister of his government did not visit Rajghat or Vijay Ghat on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti. LG called it a violation of protocol.

It is written in the letter that such programs are organized by the Delhi government. The invitation letter sent to the guests of the program goes in the name of the Chief Minister of Delhi. In such a situation, it is wrong for CM or any minister not to visit the samadhi of Gandhiji and Lal Bahadur Shastri.

Scam in liquor policy is the major reason for dispute between Kejriwal and Saxena

Alleging a scam in Delhi's liquor policy, LG VK Saxena had recommended a CBI inquiry into it. CBI had searched the house and bank locker of Deputy CM Manish Sisodia. A case of money laundering was also registered in this case and the Enforcement Directorate (ED) raided 40 places in 6 states simultaneously.

Liquor policy was implemented from August 1

Deputy CM Manish Sisodia had announced on 1 August 2022 that the old liquor policy would be implemented. He called a press conference and said- The Center has made the entry of CBI in this policy, due to which no one is ready to take the contract. So we will not implement the new system.

The Deputy CM had said that the corruption of the BJP would have ended with the new excise policy and revenue of 9,500 crores would have come in a year. Presently 468 liquor shops are running in Delhi. The motive of BJP is that illegal liquor is sold in Delhi.

Under this new liquor policy, the Delhi government has taken these 5 major decisions.

By dividing the entire Delhi into 32 zones, it was said to have 27 liquor vendors in each zone.

In this it was decided that the Delhi government will no longer do the work of selling liquor.

Now there will be only private shops to sell liquor in Delhi.

In each ward, 2 to 3 vendors will be allowed to sell liquor.

The process of granting licenses for liquor shops will be made easy and flexible.

There have been allegations of breaking these 4 rules on the new liquor policy ...

GNCTD Act 1991

Transactions of Business Rules (TOBR)-1993

Delhi Excise Act-2009

Delhi Excise Rules-2010

For this reason, the Chief Secretary had also sought a reply from the Excise Department. When the file was sent to the Lieutenant Governor in this regard on July 8, then the ruckus started on this matter.
