The accident took place between the old airport and Pokhara airport at Pokhara in Kaski district. According to reports, the flight took off from Kathmandu at 10:30 am to reach Pokhara. Pokhara airport is 200 km from Kathmandu. It takes 25 minutes to reach here.

Pilot asked for permission to land twice
