Asaram's heir Who is this woman: After going to jail in 2013, she came into limelight; How manages the empire of 10 thousand crores

81-year-old Asaram was sentenced to life imprisonment by the Gandhinagar Sessions Court in Gujarat for raping a Surat woman. Earlier, on April 25, 2018, the Jodhpur court had sentenced Asaram to life imprisonment for raping a minor. Since then he is lodged in Jodhpur jail. His son Narayan Sai is also serving life sentence in a rape case.

There was a time when Asaram's ashram was crowded round the clock. People used to reach the ashram from far and wide. People used to stand for hours to see him. From politicians to actors used to bow down in his court. Within four decades, he made an empire of 10 thousand crore rupees.

After Asaram and Narayan Sai went to jail, the question arose that who would be the heir of this empire? Who will manage more than 400 ashrams of Asaram? Will devotees still be attached to Asaram? Asaram's daughter Bharti Devi has emerged as the answer to all these questions. Which is known as 'Bhartishri' and 'Shriji'.

Many years ago 'Sant Shri Asaram Trust' was formed. Its headquarters is in Ahmedabad, but all the ashrams, schools or other institutions that Asaram has built in the country and abroad, are being looked after by Bharti Devi through this trust. Bharti has been managing ashrams and trusts for the past 19 years, but has always stayed away from the limelight. He also has a good image among the followers of Asaram.

Bharti Devi's role behind the scenes

Year 2004, this was the time when Asaram's name was on top in the world of spirituality. His son Narayan Sai was also at the center of the spiritual movements that took place across the country. In the same year, Bharti Devi entered the spiritual platform of Asaram. Gradually, she also started attending the satsang of Asaram. His influence started increasing among the followers of Asaram.

Bharti Devi's biggest skill is to easily put any thing in people's mind. Still, Bharati Devi was rarely discussed in the outside world, because people's attention was more on Asaram and Narayan Sai.
