Air India flight coming from New York to Delhi has been diverted to London. An official said that the flight had taken off from John F Kennedy Airport, but a passenger had a medical emergency, due to which the flight had to be diverted to Heathrow Airport in London. After dropping the passenger in London, the flight will take off for Delhi. Due to this medical emergency, the flight will land at Delhi airport with a delay of 6-7 hours. There are more than 350 passengers on board the aircraft. Air India flight takes around 14 hours to cover the distance from New York to Delhi.
Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar orders inquiry against 12 opposition MPs
Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar has ordered an inquiry by a parliamentary committee against 12 opposition MPs from Congress and AAP. These MPs are accused of repeatedly entering the Well of the House, raising slogans and disrupting the proceedings of the House. According to the Bulletin of the Rajya Sabha, 9 of these MPs are from the Congress and 3 from the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).
Congress MPs include Shaktisinh Gohil, Naranbhai J Rathwa, Syed Nasir Hussain, Kumar Ketkar, Imran Pratapgarhi, L Hanumanthaiah, Phoolo Devi Netam, JB Mather Hisham and Ranjit Ranjan. Apart from these, three AAP MPs include Sanjay Singh, Sushil Kumar Gupta and Sandeep Kumar Pathak.
