Bhaskar Updates: Sachin Pilot said – The decision regarding Rajasthan should be made soon, the matter of not allowing the meeting of the Legislature Party

Congress leader Sachin Pilot said last year the party legislature party meeting in Jaipur was not allowed to take place. There is 'extreme delay' in taking action against the leaders responsible for this. If the tradition of changing the government every five years in Rajasthan has to be changed, then the matters related to Congress in Rajasthan will have to be decided soon.

In an interview given to the agency, Pilot cited the show cause notice given four months ago to three leaders considered close to CM Ashok Gehlot. He said only the Congress Disciplinary Action Committee, AK Antony, party president Mallikarjun Kharge and the Congress leadership can give the correct answer as to why the matter has been delayed.

Sachin said that the meeting of the Legislature Party was called by the CM on 25 September. This meeting could not take place. The instructions of the then Congress President Sonia Gandhi were not followed. Whatever happened in the meeting was a separate issue, but the meeting itself was not allowed to happen. Those responsible for not allowing the meeting to take place and calling a parallel meeting were given notices for indiscipline. I came to know through the media that these leaders have replied to the notices. No decision has been taken by the Congress Committee so far.
