Shrilal Shukla, a writer who has seen the Indian society through a microscope, has written a lot-
“Unemployment in itself is such a problem which afflicts more than half of the people of the country. The second suffering makes them feel exploited, they feel that the government or society ignores them or does injustice to them. Governments have made many schemes to solve this problem, but many of them The effects of the schemes do not reach the people who are most in need of these schemes.
You already know what pressure the preparation of competitive exams brings to the unemployed in India to get jobs and education.
Big problem related to competitive exams in India
In the last few years, there have been many worrying incidents in the world of competitive exams in India. Today we will raise some questions related to them.
1) Lateness of examinations and results
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many exams have been postponed or cancelled. This created a lot of uncertainty for the students and candidates. Exams like UPSC Civil Services Exam and NEET-PG were delayed by several months.
Even if Covid-19 had not come, delay in results and examinations is common in the world of competitive exams in India, especially for government jobs. This especially happens between the preliminary and main exams in SSC and Railways. After giving the pre-examination, sometimes years are spent waiting for its results and main exam dates. Meanwhile, sensible students choose some other path, but a large youth section of India only wants to get a government job.
Is there no value of many years of life of lakhs of youth?
In many cases, the candidates appear for the exam with all their hard work and the exam gets canceled due to paper leak.

2) paper leak
From the Vyapam scam unearthed in 2013 to the SSC-CGL paper leak in 2018, incidents of paper leaks have been happening in India. In 2018 itself, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) had to re-examine both the subjects for Class 10 Mathematics and Class 12 Economics due to allegations of paper leak. Be it the Bihar Staff Selection Commission of 2017 or the Rajasthan Police Constable Exam, paper leak cases keep coming to the fore.
Whenever such incidents happen, there are massive protests. Stringent security measures are called for to prevent such incidents from happening. Then after a few days everything goes on the shelf.
The biggest loss of paper leak is on the mind and heart of the honest student and he loses faith in the system.
Is such dishonesty with 99% honest students and that too continuously, right?
3) Technical glitches
Technical glitches have been reported in many online exams including IBPS Clerk exam, NTA, UGC NET, Computer Based Common Admission Test for admission to the prestigious Indian Institute of Management in the year 2009. For this reason the examinations are canceled or re-conducted. This spoils all the further planning of the students and candidates.
