A fire broke out at Hotel Allento near Sikka Patiya on Gujarat's Jamnagar-Khambhalia highway at around 8 pm on Thursday. The fire was so terrible that it spread throughout the hotel in no time. More than 25 people were reported to be trapped here during the accident. However, after two hours of hard work, the rescue team got the trapped people out safely.
Three people who had difficulty in breathing due to the smoke have been admitted to the hospital. The hotel is 25 kms away from Jamnagar city centre. The hotel also has a dining room and restaurant with 36 rooms. As soon as the information about the fire was received, the administration sent teams of Reliance, GSFC and Jamnagar Fire Brigade to the spot and rescue work started soon.
