Among those who became victims of the racket is Prashant Yadav of Kanyakumari. Prashant, a mechanical engineer by profession, met a travel agent named Mansoor in December 2021. He took other documents including passport, promising to get a good job in Dubai.
Mansoor deceived Prashant for 3 months. In May, he reached Dubai and met an agent named Nasir. Nasir also did not provide him any work for two months. Prashant was running out of money and he was ready to return to Kanyakumari.
Then Nasir came to him and offered him an IT job in Thailand. Prashant accepted the offer. After clearing the interview, he reached Thailand on 8 July 2022 with 6 more people.
